North East Bed Company raises money for Sport Relief

28, June, 2012

Palatine Beds, the North East's oldest Bed Manufacturer raised £110 for Sport Relief between 23rd - 25th March 2012.

Sales staff Ron Stobbart and Antonia Dimambro dressed up as a mattress and a pillow and Factory Shop and Office staff made a donation each to wear their gym kits and martial arts outfits to work.

Ron Stobbart said: "The costumes, like our mattresses have an excellent finish, however they were quite large and difficult to walk in, but they were a big hit with the people in Westerhope, a lot of people said they'd seen lots of costumes over the weekend, but no other mattresses or pillows.

"We would like to thank all the people who made a donation to staff wearing fancy dress and sportswear in the Factory Shop.

"We would also like to say a big thank you to all the staff at Palatine Beds for their hard work and enthusiasm without them the fundraising event wouldn't have been possible."
